Iroquois, ON, Canada – May 28, 2007 – Ross Video announced today the appointment of Andrew Tan, Regional Sales Manager - Asia. He will be responsible for developing new and maintaining existing customer and partner relationships in the region.

Tan will be based in Singapore and will report to Dae Choe, International Sales Manager for Asia Pacific. He will be managing the sales territories for Hong Kong, Taiwan, Mongolia, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Bhutan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and The Maldives.

“We’re pleased to have Andrew join the Ross Asia sales team,” said Dae Choe, International Sales Manager for Asia Pacific, Ross Video. “His extensive experience and knowledge of the broadcast industry will be an asset as Ross continues to expand market share in Asia.”

Prior to joining Ross, Tan worked for Avid as Product Manager for Asia Pacific. During his tenure with Avid he managed the Broadcast News market segment as well as the On-air Graphics and Play-to-Air servers product line. Tan came to Avid through the Pinnacle acquisition where he was Product Marketing Manager for NLE’s. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Upper Iowa University, USA and is fluent in English and Mandarin.
