Ross Synergy 1 Used in Zankel Hall, Carnegie Hall's New Venue for Distance Learning

Iroquois, ON, Canada – April 5, 2005 – Ross Synergy 1 Digital Production Switcher was chosen by Carnegie Hall for use in its new third stage, the Judy and Arthur Zankel Hall. Opened in September 2003, Zankel Hall is a flexible 600-plus-seat performance and education venue with advanced communication technology.

The Synergy 1 production switcher was selected for Zankel Hall because of its ability to control and route multiple sources as well as its advanced visual effects capabilities. The product is currently used in Zankel Hall for various educational performances and events, including videoconferencing, distance learning, and family concerts, presented by The Weill Music Institute at Carnegie Hall. The Weill Music Institute serves as the umbrella for Carnegie Hall’s music education programs as well as the catalyst for future educational initiatives.
