Ross and Editware Partner to Offer Fastrack with Synergy Switchers

Iroquois, ON, Canada – March 28, 2005 – Ross Video and Editware today announced an agreement where Ross will offer the Editware Fastrack Edit Controller in packages with Synergy Switchers. Ross and Editware have enjoyed a long cooperative relationship, ensuring maximum interoperability between the companies products.

The Synergy series of digital production switchers include both Synergy SD for standard definition applications and Synergy MD for multi-definition applications (both standard and high definition formats). The Synergy series production switchers are designed to work in virtually any live production environment as well as making an excellent post production editing switcher.

“The Editware Fastrack combined with Synergy makes a terrific editing solution for our customers,” said Jeff Moore, VP of Sales and Marketing, Ross Video. “We already have numerous customer installations worldwide with Editware. We are excited at the ability we now have to offer a superior bundled solution that just works.”

The Fastrack SE is a hybrid linear / non-linear editor designed to interface and control disk based video servers, with the additional benefit of being able to control VTRs, mixers, production switchers, character generators and other peripheral devices.
