Greek National Broadcaster Chooses Synergy Vision Mixers for Athens Olympics

ERT, Greece's national broadcaster, has selected the Ross Synergy range of vision mixers for use in the Athens 2004 Olympics.  This purchase includes 3 Synergy 3s and 1 Synergy 4, each equipped with Squeeze and Tease WARP, VTR Control, Custom Control Macros with Mnemonics and more. This latest purchase brings ERT's total of large Ross Synergy mixers to 5.
 
The switchers will be used in ERT's production facilities within the IBC (International Broadcasting Centre) at the Athens 2004 Olympic Games in August.  After a careful product evaluation process, Ross Synergy mixers were chosen because of their exceptional functionality, versatility and value.  The need for the mixers to work flawlessly in a critical live environment was crucial to ERT's decision.  Following the Olympic event, the switchers will be installed in ERT's main production and news studios.

The Synergy vision mixers were supplied to ERT via TELMACO, SA, a distributor and systems integration company who sell and support the Ross product line in Greece.
